FISH: Whitefish Overload
I'M BACK IN WASHINGTON NOW, after a considerably more pleasant drive back from Michigan than my trip out. The trip was made possible by numerous whitefish salad sandwiches my mother made. I need to get the recipe, as it is ever so tasty. If I grow crazy in the next few weeks, please blame the higher mercury content that may be in my system after eating so much smoked whitefish shipped in from Wisconsin. (Apparently, you should only have whitefish once a week.)
